AI audit: find out what deserves to be automated in your company, and what does not.

Before installing a single agent, Merlin maps your processes, costs the recoverable time and hands you a prioritized roadmap. The plan is yours, whether you continue with us or not.

What you get

A costed automation plan, not an 80-page report.

The audit answers three questions: which repetitive tasks cost you the most, which ones automate reliably, and in what order to tackle them so the investment pays back quickly.

A map of your processes

Who does what, in which tools, how many times a week: an honest photograph of your workflows, including the workarounds nobody talks about.

Costed use cases

Each selected case is estimated in recoverable time and setup cost. And the discarded cases are discarded explicitly, with the reason: too fragile, too rare, too sensitive.

The recommended architecture

Tools, hosting, where AI fits, GDPR compliance: the technical choices are proportionate to your constraints, not to the fashion of the moment.

A roadmap that belongs to you

A prioritized deployment order, usable with us, in-house or with another provider. It is your exit door, and our obligation to deliver an audit that stands on its own.

What we examine

How the audit unfolds, from immersion to hand-over.

01

Interviews with your teams

They are the ones who know the repetitive tasks and the real friction. We interview the people who do the work, not just management.

02

Mapping of tools and data

CRM, ERP, e-mail, spreadsheets: where your data lives, how it flows, and where re-entry and drift happen.

03

Use case selection

We only keep the cases that really save time: frequent, rule-based, measurable. The rest is set aside, with the reason.

04

Costing the recoverable time

For each case: volume handled, time spent today, estimated time after automation, setup cost. Enough to decide with numbers in hand.

05

Architecture and compliance

Hosting (cloud or your servers), model choices, GDPR and the AI Act: constraints are built into the roadmap, not discovered in production.

06

Hand-over and roadmap

A restitution session with your teams, a prioritized plan and a deployment order. You know what to launch, in what order, and why.

Pricing

How much does an AI audit cost? Our ranges.

The same public ranges as on our general price list, because a provider that hides its prices wastes your time.

Price ranges for the audit and what may follow
30-min diagnosticFree
Process auditfrom €1,500
First automation (what follows)€1,500 – €8,000
Custom AI agent (what follows)€4,000 – €20,000

The audit price varies with scope: the number of processes examined, teams interviewed, tools to map.

After the audit, each selected project gets a firm fixed-price quote: no time-based billing, no surprises.

Method

One to two weeks, in four movements.

Part 01

Immersion

Access to your tools, interviews with the teams, observation of the real flows. We start from what actually happens, not from the org chart.

Part 02

Mapping

The processes are laid out flat: steps, tools, volumes, friction points. It is the raw material for everything else.

Part 03

Costing

Candidate cases are estimated in recoverable time and cost. Fragile or overly sensitive cases are set aside, with the reason.

Part 04

Hand-over

Prioritized roadmap, restitution session, decision. The audit is the first two weeks of our full method.

FAQ

Your questions about the audit: price, deliverables, commitment.

How much does an AI audit cost?

From €1,500 depending on scope: the number of processes examined, teams interviewed and tools to map. The 30-minute diagnostic, on the other hand, is free and helps establish whether an audit is worth it. Our ranges are published in the Pricing section.

What is the difference between the free diagnostic and the audit?

The diagnostic is a 30-minute video call: we understand your context and spot 2-3 leads at first glance. The audit is an engagement: immersion in your tools, interviews, mapping, costing and a prioritized roadmap that you keep.

What does an AI audit deliver?

A prioritized automation plan: the map of your processes, the selected cases with recoverable time costed, the recommended architecture (tools, hosting, GDPR compliance) and a deployment order. An actionable document, not an 80-page report.

How long does an audit take?

One to two weeks for a standard scope: it is the first step of our six-week method. The pace mostly depends on your teams' availability for interviews.

Do you need an audit before automating?

For a first project, yes: automating the wrong process costs the same as automating the right one. The audit exists to pick the cases where recovered time quickly pays back the investment, and to rule out those that do not deserve it.

Does the audit commit us to continuing with you?

No. The plan is yours, whether you continue with us, in-house or with another provider. That is a deliberate exit door: it protects you, and it forces us to deliver an audit that stands on its own.
